The following picture illustrates typical home installations which require the transceiver radio have clear line-of-sight with the transmitting radios on the Buckley Fire Station Tower.   This means your radio can be located on your roof top or possibly on the side of your house or even in a window -- as long as there's clear line-of-sight.
